Captain Brooke

Being born and raised in South Africa, a country famous for having some of the most treacherous yet beautiful oceans in the world, Brooke discovered a passion that would change her life forever – Sailing. After completing her Day Skippers at 16, she set her mind to joining the yachting industry. A thirst for adventure propelled her far beyond her own shores, and inevitably, to the helm. After graduating high school in 2017, she set off to the Mediterranean – the French Riviera, Amalfi Coast, Monaco and Sicily are but few of the locations she had the pleasure of working in. At the end of 2019, Brooke found herself on the other side of the world working in the Caribbean as a deck/stew. However, during Covid and with little other option, she was forced back to where it all began – South Africa. It was then that she decided to use this opportunity at home to get her Captain’s License. Since then, she has found love, sailed across the Atlantic, become a dive professional, seen and explored many of the Caribbean Islands and now finally – she is living her dream of captaining her own yacht. A certified Yachtmaster with thousands of miles sailed, a certified Divemaster with hundreds of dives, her confidence stems from her experience.
